24) What’s gone wrong with us?

What’s gone wrong with you..?
You tear a person into pieces, leaving her soul unease.
Raped her by your gang wolves!
Slaughter her with no guild with blood and brazenness!
Hit her and throw her out of a moving bus!
Have you cherish the beautiful life around you..?
And do you know how lovely it is to chase each other around the coconut tree?
How entertaining Bollywood show can be?
And you did that in return, to tarnish all should have been!
For sure, she is not going to rest in peace!
It would be a joke, if they asked her to do so!
Is this a joke, if it’s going to happen to your family?
Will you still be laughing and kicking?
And what an irony!
She was offered a marriage in return to close the case!
She asked “What’s gone wrong with us?”
Before she tears off freely…with a shattered heart in agony.
In memory for the two victims gang raped by the locals in India, eventually one committed suicide and one died of serious injury in a Singapore Hospital.
My heart goes to the victims and the families. It’s very sad and disheartening to see such crimes happening over and over again.

Whats gone wrong with us? Good question Sydney. As of yet, there is no acceptable answer, reason or excuse for the world wide violence against women OR against humans period. Globally we humans need help to become humane.
Thank you for this post Sydney and I want to wish you, your family & friends a wonderfully joyous and healthy, safe, fun Happy New Year….Namaste.
December 30, 2012 at 12:22 pm
Yes,in some way we are humane, but at some point we are not better than beast!
Haha! back to Sydney norm self again!
I wish you happy and healthy thru-out the whole 2013! Huat ah (prosperous in dialect)!

Very strange that some cannot conceive of the notion of why the heck would you do something to someone else, that you would never want done to you. This is pure evil and hypocrisy. This is not even violence that is revenge or self-defense, it is unreasoned hatred that leads some to sociopathic, animalistic behavior like this. Sad that there are so few heroes in the world. Brave and strong and at least willing to try to stop such evil. This is why we are here. To be each other heroes.
December 30, 2012 at 12:31 pm
Yes, what has gone wrong with us?
Is a question that simple to ask but deep to answer!
I sincerely wish some power people stop all these sinful acts, show more love to our Planet. No more wars, violence and many many more…..
Thanks, pogirlshines! I wish you be a shinning star in 2013!
Cheers!

Very very tragic. We need solutions and answers to these gender-based atrocities. We need to start doing and hearing and reading about change. The lives of these precious souls need to count for something…

I cannot like this post, but I sincerely hope that these women did not die for nothing and that the indian nation will grow towards a state where freedom is really there for everyone, regardless of gender, caste or age.

Thanks, Bert! Till now, I still wondering what is the cause of it?
It could be the up bring, education or is just simply a Satan!
Thanks once more! I wish you a healthy and wealthy 2013!

women are never safe in India. They get touched and pinched and squeezed all the time in busy places or in public transport. In India, a large minority of uneducated men see women as a an object. They never see them as a mother or sister or daughter.
Given the ‘wrong’ circumstances, and a group of crazy drunk men with this mentality, and you get the background of what is happening to 10000 women in Delhi alone per year.
December 30, 2012 at 6:13 pm
Isn’t it sad it become a norm? Or it happens daily?
I’m sure must be somewhere got wrong, some how we know but we just can’t do anythings!
Cheer! Have a great weekend!
December 30, 2012 at 6:30 pm
this is part of not led evolution. call it bad government. attracting people to big cities without giving them education or jobs, removed from their agricultural controlling village mentality. Also spoiling boys in favour of girls. Girls cost too much, boys cannot do anything wrong. Just two things to tackle. If the government doesn’t tackle this, religion usually does in an unfavourable way.
So there should be a government that really governs, and that does not endlessly talk and talk, and spend to business without doing anything for the people.

OSHO ON INDIA’S REPRESSED SEXUALITY
“From Manu up to today, woman has been condemned, for the simple reason that all the so-called saints and mahatmas were living with repressed sexuality — and when you live with repressed sexuality the woman becomes immensely important. Then your whole mind is full of fantasies about women, and naturally one starts feeling that the woman is the cause of all these fantasies. You cannot get them out of your mind because those fantasies are very alluring, fascinating, but the reason is not the woman at all.
Repress your desire for food and your mind will be full of food. Repress any desire and the repressed desire will take revenge; …

I heard about those two women who were gang raped and subsequently died, it broke my heart. It’s tragic to think these horrible things are happening to innocent people. Do you know if anything will happen to the rapists? Or are they ‘off the hook’ b/c of a law that doesn’t protect women? Thank you for sharing Sydney. You expressed a terrible tragedy very eloquently.
December 30, 2012 at 11:43 am
There are some movements changing for the better, I heard!
But the most Unrepentant things that I strongly belief is the inner self of human being.
You can cane or take away their live or even throw them into hell but sadly, same things will happen again!
And again and again…..it could be different form….
Haha! Never mind, Sydney always look for the bright side of life!
Cheers! Enjoy your weekend!
December 30, 2012 at 11:38 pm

December 30, 2012 at 6:22 pm
Yes, truly sad! I wish this could be a wake up call for all sinful thought!
December 31, 2012 at 6:10 am
Unfortunately, I feel no matter how the word is spread it won’t make the slightest bit of difference. Humanity has gone to the dogs, governments couldn’t give a damn and most people turn their backs to such atrocities because they think it will never happen to them, or they don’t want to believe such things exist. This world is a shadow of what it could be.
As a woman, I thank you for hilighting the plight of these poor women.
December 31, 2012 at 9:48 am
Yes, I am thinking of the same way like you too! This is the way how I express myself, writing a poem to share with the world, not thru the extreme way but a reminding or shall I say a highlight ground.
Thanks, Sara! Cheers!
