Those are just beautiful. I’m not sure which I liked the most. How wonderful that you get to see these things frequently. I used to live in an area with a lot of trees, but now I don’t and I miss them. Thanks for sharing!

Really? I didn’t notice it has fruit? There are many planted along our roadside, I stay in Sengkang, that’s why I frequently spot them in Pasir Ris Park, along Upper Serangoon road and Yeo Chu Kang road and off course there are many more in other parts of Singapore!
This tree is no1 in my favourite list!

We have a tree in Woodleigh Park.. that after a rain 2 days ago, it seems to be shedding just about every leaf it has.. Just a bed of leaves under it. Not sure of the name of the tree. Any idea of what could cause this. Perhaps lightning?

Hi! I believe your dad is referring 青龙木 in Chinese, Angsana in local context, Pterocarpus indicus- scientific name.

I happened pass by Evans road, Genesis school. There is one outside the premises, hope that is what you referring.
