21) Will you still love me?

You beat her up with many reasons

Kiss her with no reason

Sparks in your eyes

Fist with diamond ring in the air

You said sorry uncountable times

And she begins to feel sorry for herself

She says

“I am not sure if I can bear with this anymore”

And you asked her.

“Will you still love me?”

You trimmed me down with many reasons

Keep me when you said you love eco

Spark on my body from the eyes of your saw

Yet, you said you love your garden

You confused me

And I started to confuse myself

I am not sure if I can bear with this any more

And you asked me

“Will you still love me?”

You bombed me with many reasons

Lock me up for peace

Spark in the eyes of a warrior

But, you only love your own family

You worry me

And I started to worry for myself

I am not sure if I can bear with this any more

And you asked me

A question I don’t even know how to answer myself

“Will you still love me anymore?”

Nothin’ wrong with hating violence – being able to transform it into nonviolence the key. But first we need to draw attention to it – which you’ve done.

Very moving and sadly the daily tune for many! They wish they could end such a vicious cycle yet there is something holding them back. But what is love really? Can it be that great that people tolerate such abuse?

of course, sometime we need tolerate to get the message across to your love one. But the issue is love shouldn’t be restricted to your own boundary. I know saying is easier than done.cheers! 🙂

Wow, this is really moving. I love it, specially …”But, you only love your own family
You worry me”…that really touched me. There’s something so right and so wrong about this kind of love, you should love your family but not just your family. I think it’s when most problem starts, when you limit your love to something or someone. I believe it should extend to every human being or every living thing..the love and the respect. Maybe then nobody will have to ask if he’s love still.

      Sydney Fong responded:
      November 21, 2012 at 9:33 am

yes! we love but only limit to our own. we share but only restrict with our favorite subjects. Nothing wrong categorize the degree of love, just like parents, relatives, friends and strangers. But love must exist, in order to decrease the conflict of all beings.

Sydney I also found this really moving…So many ills of society would dissipate through right education of children, bringing them up as tender trees watering them with love, compassion and all the spiritual/emotional/nutrients they need to grow. In an ideal society this is possible;e,but unfortunately we don’t live in an ideal society…. I always wonder why education focuses on science and mathematics, and why it isnt more humanistic/holistic… teaching kids to be better citizens of the earth- rooted in love, compassion and the desire to serve all, in big or small ays for the betterment of mankind. Thank you for following my blog , http://20somethingeverything.wordpress.com/ , but this isnt my active blog… my active blog is http://kersheaclement.wordpress.com/ ~so please follow that instead if you’d wish. and basically, I’ve recently started writing and blogging as a means to express myself.

    Have a beautiful day.
    Many blesings
and looking forward to reading the your new posts.

Hi Kershea! I am so touch by your compliments, as I am just a lame person always not enough money in the pocket.
But I always feel a fire in my heart when I see things not right or somethings gone wrong, I will start fire! Of course I got no missile or weapon even though I am not going to use it!
I will put myself at one corner to ask, why must violence exist on earth? is there any other forms to stop all these?
So as a tiny Blogger like me, the only things I can do is to write. I wrote a poem “He asked” you may read it, do it when you are free!
So much about myself today! I see you then!

Your poem starts with something close to us – personal abuse, then on to something environmental – which we all contribute to in one way or another, then finally to a huge problem – war, violence of the utmost out of control kind. We say we’re sorry, but then we do it again. That is the mystery. have we no self-discipline. What does it take to get us to stop destructive, hurtful behaviors? What makes people start that in the first place? How do we stop it before it starts? Great poem. As usual, you’ve made me think or laugh or cry. I love your blog. I’m featuring it on my post tomorrow. Look for it!!! 🙂
