How to survive?

Husband was seriously ill.
Doc told wife: Give him healthy breakfast, be pleasant & in good mood.
don’t discuss your problems, no TV serial,
don’t demand new clothes & gold jewels.
Do this for 1 yr & he will be okay!
On the way home…
Husband asked: what did the doc said ?
Wife replied: No chance for you to survive!
32) Be a Happy Monkey
This is the front cover of positive thinking campaign post card by the Singapore Health Promotion Board. Though the campaign was held many years back, but the post card is still sticking on my wall. It pose as a reminder to me and the cute monkeys always made my day.
The campaign is also broadcasted on TV, with a few animated monkeys talking about how they feel so blessed though they are only getting peanuts for their salary.
At the back of the card, the Authority concerned throw 3 questions asking for feedback for a positive mind. This is an effective way of getting people to think and find a solution to their own answer.
I’ve chosen “I think about the good things in my life” among the 3 answers.
First of all, there are too many good things in my life. I’m not here talking about how much I have in my savings, and not referring to how complete a life cycle people always define to be.
I’m talking about the living up to an age with a moderate health condition, moderate standard of living, moderate unevenness of my path. That is good enough for me to conclude how much good things I owned in my life!
I’ve yet to include the blogging trails with the world that I have started 6 months ago. And I have not included my good bonding friendship with all my dear friends, my family members and my other half. Last but not least, how about my pet dog, Cougar!
All these enhance my quality of life and are comfortable enough to be treated like a 5-star dinner. I have so much side dish to recommend if I wanted to!
I can be served with a simple meal just with vegetables, though I’m not a vegetarian. I can bring in plants to add lush to the dinning hall, but I prefer to eat under the sky beside the green.
That’s the reason why these cute monkeys are still swinging on the wall without resting for a day! My gratitude to them for serving as a reminder, reminding us to create positive energy for our own and extension to others beyond your own circle. How about that?!
25) Contrasting Articles
I love you, so I wanna eat you
Some 30 thousands shark fins was laid on the roof? This is a shocking news happened in Hong Kong lately, where 30 thousands shark fins was being discovered having sunbath on the industrial building in western Hong Kong.
Conservation group Sea Shepard described this is really wrath and the scene of crime is too appalling to viewers. Based on the picture given, these 20-30 thousands shark fins are placed surreptitiously on the roof of industrial building in anticipation for Chinese New Year demand.
Fortunately, according to seafood industrial spokeman, the demand of this expensive staple in Chinese banquet has been declined progressively, this has to be related to the “no shark fins banquet” and our Eco mindset. I am glad!
I love you, so I wanna be with you

This happens in North Wales, an eight years old doggy, Terfel keep bumping into things and stuck in basket. After vet’s examination, Terfel was detected to have cataracts.
Subsequently, owner Judy Godfrey Brown lets a stray pussy cat Pwditat stays with them.
What happens next is that, Pwditat guides Terfel in and out of his basket and into the garden.
This amazing story breaks the law of cats and dogs hate each other! And since then, both are glue to each other and sleep together as well. A true story from North Wales, about a Guide Cat and a blind dog.
We should have more of the both on this earth! Peace!

24) What’s gone wrong with us?

What’s gone wrong with you..?
You tear a person into pieces, leaving her soul unease.
Raped her by your gang wolves!
Slaughter her with no guild with blood and brazenness!
Hit her and throw her out of a moving bus!
Have you cherish the beautiful life around you..?
And do you know how lovely it is to chase each other around the coconut tree?
How entertaining Bollywood show can be?
And you did that in return, to tarnish all should have been!
For sure, she is not going to rest in peace!
It would be a joke, if they asked her to do so!
Is this a joke, if it’s going to happen to your family?
Will you still be laughing and kicking?
And what an irony!
She was offered a marriage in return to close the case!
She asked “What’s gone wrong with us?”
Before she tears off freely…with a shattered heart in agony.
In memory for the two victims gang raped by the locals in India, eventually one committed suicide and one died of serious injury in a Singapore Hospital.
My heart goes to the victims and the families. It’s very sad and disheartening to see such crimes happening over and over again.

This post was inspired by a news article regarding Dolphins. Wen Wen died suddenly less than an hour before the flight from Philippines to Resorts World Sentosa, Singapore.
Wen Wen is the third dolphin to die out of 27 which RWS acquired from the Solomon Islands in the South Pacific between 2008 and 2009.
8) Dice your Life
Lately, I read an article on newly wed Chinese couple born after the 80s. They have innovated a special dice. The shape does not defer much from the traditional rounded cube, rather of showing number 1-6 on the six-face dice, this one has daily activities like ‘laundry’, ‘cooking’, ‘wash dishes’, ‘buy groceries’, ‘run errand’, ‘staring blank’ etc. on the six-face dice.
The couple has to toss the die to decide their choice of house chore to be done for the day. That’s a fair deal but it could be the starting of a nightmare for the husband.
It is a popular and trendy practice among the young couple. Isn’t it an innovation, and creative idea used in an amazing way!
7) A Day of a Honey Collector

Spring and autumn is the honey collection season for Nepalese. Nepalese have a hard task collecting honey as the comb it’s often bedded at the cliff. The honey collectors risk their life in the deep forest at the Himalayan region for this daily task. For fear of bee stink, they dangle themselves in mid air risking their life daily to exchange their 3 meals.

Collectors make use of smokes and noises to chase the bees away from their comb.

The giant Himalayan wild bees built their nest on the cliff a few hundreds meter above ground.

Collectors make use of the self-made rope, and use a simple gear like a wooden stick to plug the comb down. This is the time the bees started their attack to protect their boundary. But the experienced collectors would stay calm and steady not to agitate the bees further.

This is life in exchange, for a daily meal.
21) Will you still love me?

You beat her up with many reasons
Kiss her with no reason
Sparks in your eyes
Fist with diamond ring in the air
You said sorry uncountable times
And she begins to feel sorry for herself
She says
“I am not sure if I can bear with this anymore”
And you asked her.
“Will you still love me?”

You trimmed me down with many reasons
Keep me when you said you love eco
Spark on my body from the eyes of your saw
Yet, you said you love your garden
You confused me
And I started to confuse myself
I am not sure if I can bear with this any more
And you asked me
“Will you still love me?”

You bombed me with many reasons
Lock me up for peace
Spark in the eyes of a warrior
But, you only love your own family
You worry me
And I started to worry for myself
I am not sure if I can bear with this any more
And you asked me
A question I don’t even know how to answer myself
“Will you still love me anymore?”
9) Husband and Liquor
Wife to drunk husband: From now on, if your lips touch liquor, you will never touch mine. What are you thinking?
Husband: Deciding: 18 year old scotch or 36 year old lips….
